Hello World Investments

Pitch me.

Hello World backs founders from creative industries — music, design, film — building technology. If that is you, tell me what you are building. I read every pitch.

What I fund

  • +Creative-industry founders building AI products
  • +Pre-seed and seed — happy to be the first check
  • +A specific user, a real moment, a clear wedge
  • +Taste you trained somewhere else first

What I skip

  • Horizontal "AI assistant for everyone" plays
  • A model fine-tuned on proprietary data as the moat
  • "ChatGPT for [X]" with no real wedge
  • A pitch with no specific user in it

Before you pitch

What stage do you invest at?

Pre-seed and seed. I am happy to be the first check. If you are further along and there is a fit, still pitch — I just move differently.

How fast will I hear back?

I read every submission personally. If there is a fit, I reach out within a week or two. No reply is not a no forever — it usually means timing or focus, not a verdict on you.

Do I need a warm intro?

No. This form goes straight to me. A warm intro is faster, but the cold pitch box is real and I actually read it.

Do I need a technical co-founder?

No. The vibe-coding stack collapsed that bar. If your taste is real and you can articulate the user, the moment, and the wedge, the technical execution is solvable.

What makes a pitch stand out?

A specific user in a specific moment, a feature you killed and why, and an honest answer to why you are the right person to build this. Read the framework essay above for the full version.
